Which platforms are officially confirmed?

The officially announced initial platforms for Grand Theft Auto VI are PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The currently scheduled date is 19 November 2026. This is not a confirmation of other versions or release windows.

How to check before paying

1. Open Rockstar's official game page and confirm the date has not changed.
2. Find the store listing associated with your own console, account region and currency.
3. Read the edition description, refund rules, storage requirements and payment terms in your regional store.
4. For a preload, only trust the date shown to your own account after checkout; third-party region charts can be wrong.
5. Keep your confirmation receipt and be wary of unofficial keys or claims of early access.

Unconfirmed features

Do not infer a PC release date, GTA VI mod support, roleplay servers or specific online features from older GTA games. A separate official announcement is needed for each of those claims.
